I need to convert user documents into Help files. All docs are in word format. I am looking for any free downloadable help to convert into help files. Is there any tool where, I can just import word document in to .CHM file.

regarding help file

Hi Rekha.

The best way to create a .CHM file is to convert the word document to HTML page using the Dreamweaver tool and then use those HTML pages to create .CHM file.

You can create .CHM file with the HTML pages using the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop which is a freeware tool.
