The conference is very much on. We are working on the agenda right now. The
committee is reviewing the paper submissions.

The tentative agenda will be published by the end of October. The
registrations will begin on 1st November 2008.

What will be having in this year's conference?

Lot of learning, networking, fun (and freaking out!)

All the regular stuff:
* Pre-conference Training Workshops (11 December 2008)
* Two days of even-packed conference (12 and 13 December 2008)
* Entertainment night (12th December 2008)

The new stuff:
* Full-day of learning sessions in the form of STC India's Volunteer Day
Celebrations (11 December 2008)
* Spot-salary survey and a panel discussion on the survey results
* Un-conference Sessions

Block your dates now and start talking to your managers about sponsoring
you.
The conference registrations fees are going to be
* Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) for both the days of
conference for STC Members
* Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees three thousand only) for both the days of conference
for non-members

The workshop registrations fees are going to be
* Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for one full day (for STC Members
as well as non-members)

The volunteer-day registrations fees are going to be
* Rs. 0/- (Rupees zero only) for one full day of Volunteer Day Sessions
