    Writer Skills:\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nUpdate existing and create new documentation according to specified timelines\r\nReview documentation for clarity, content, and consistency with established department standards and ensure compliance with business rules \r\nCollaborate with Senior Documentation staff and/or business partners for instruction, guidance, or direction\r\nProactively manage task assignments or documentation projects to due dates, and report status\r\nFacilitate small-size documentation efforts\r\nOrganize and facilitate meetings to review, resolve conflict with, and/or approve documentation, and report status\r\nMentor less experienced team members, especially new hires and Documentation Specialist level employees\r\nMake recommendations for content/format improvements \r\nMake recommendations for department or business partner process improvements \r\nPerform research required to update/develop documentation\r\nPublish documentation according to established protocol \r\nAssist leadership with business issue resolution\r\nMeet or exceed established business MBOs of quality and speed to delivery\r\nDisplay competencies of:\r\nActing ethically\r\nFocusing on customers \r\nActing as a team player \r\nCommunicating effectively \r\nSupporting change and innovation \r\nMaking fact-based decisions \r\nDelivering quality results\r\nRequirements:\r\nUndergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred\r\n1+ year’s instructional writing experience.  (SOPs/ Job Aid’s/Policies and Procedures) \r\nIntermediate in MS Word and HTML coding\r\nAssets:\r\nBA in English or other communications-based program preferred \r\nFamiliarity with APA Guidelines preferred \r\nTechnical Communications a plus\r\n
