    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nAnalyzes customer information requirements and product\r\nspecifications to define technical content strategy and plan.

    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nDesigns and develops written and/or visual product-related\r\ninformation - hard copy, web - (e.g., user/configuration/
    \r\ntroubleshooting guides), and online information (interactive demos, help\r\nsystems) integrated into product, for a variety of
    \r\naudiences (end user, system administrators, internal support engineers, product\r\ndevelopers, training developers).

    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nCodes, builds, compiles, and tests online information and/or\r\nsets-up, loads and tests systems hardware to create information
    \r\ndeliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product\r\ndevelopment.

    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nAs customer advocate, helps define/refine product requirements.\r\nDevelops standards and style documents and templates, scripts, style sheets, and\r\nscript and graphic libraries to ensure common look and feel. Interfaces with\r\ncross-functional areas as a member of
    \r\nthe product development team, such as marketing, test, support, and\r\nmanufacturing.

    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nApplies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and\r\ncomplex business issues within established guidelines and recommends\r\nappropriate alternatives. Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and\r\nscope.

    \r\n\r\n

    ·        \r\nExercises independent judgment within generally defined policies\r\nand practices to identify and select a solution. May act a team or project\r\nleader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information\r\nvalidation and team decision making process. Ability to handle most unique\r\nsituations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business
    \r\nissues.

    Education and Experience Required:

    \r\n\r\n
      \r\n
    • Typically a first-level University degree in Technical\r\n Communications, Computer Science or related technical/communications field\r\n and a minimum of 4-6 years.
    • \r\n
    • Related experience or an Advanced University degree and\r\n 2-4 years’ experience or equivalent.
    • \r\n
    • Understands concepts and develops in-depth working\r\n knowledge of products, applications and systems in assigned area of\r\n responsibility.
    • \r\n
    • Exceptional writing skill
    • \r\n
    • Familiarity with one of the enterprise IT domains\r\n (systems, virtualization, networking, storage, databases etc.)
    • \r\n
    • At least 3 -4 years’ experience as an Information\r\n Developer, Technical Writer
    • \r\n
    • Ability to work on multiple projects
    • \r\n
    \r\n\r\n

    Knowledge and Skills:

    \r\n\r\n
      \r\n
    • Existing product family, or new product within a\r\n technology.
    • \r\n
    • Designs, develops, and maintains moderately complex\r\n technical information for multiple audiences.
    • \r\n
    • Participates in multiple projects concurrently.
    • \r\n
    • May lead a project team in the design, development and\r\n delivery of information products for a well-defined project.
    • \r\n
    • May manage moderately complex projects by engaging\r\n outsource vendors for development of deliverables.
    • \r\n
    \r\n\r\n

    • Excellent writing skill

    • Familiarity with different Operating Systems
    • \r\n
    • Experience in documentation Enterprise Software – Example:\r\n Systems/networking domain

    • Able to work to create simple documentation from complex\r\n technical information

    • Willingness to work with global, cross-functional teams.
