JD for Technical Writer Position \r\n-Knowledge of Networking concepts will be an added advantage \r\n-Knowledge of SDLC \r\n-Knowledge of DDLC \r\n-Aware of Concepts of Technical Writing \r\n-Excellent written and oral communication skills \r\n-Knowledge of MS office, Madcap Flare or any other documentation tools. \r\n-Good analytical skills and ability to learn new things quickly. \r\n-Good in creating presentations, other customer related documents \r\n-Good review skills. \r\nRoles and Responsibilities \r\nHe/she has to develop online help, user manual and Admin guide for new features that have will be developed every release. \r\nEstimate and plan the documentation tasks and get it approved by the Manager. \r\nAdhere to deadlines and complete the tasks as planned. \r\nUpdate the existing documentation upon changes. \r\nHas to work on the images / screenshots using image editing tools \r\nHas to communicate with the QA and development team to gather information to be documented. \r\nCreate demos \r\nDevelop sales/customer related documents, Release notes \r\nDo a self-review of the artefacts and get the artefacts reviewed from the SMEs. \r\nTrack the documentation related issues and close them during every release cycle. \r\nMaintain the documents in the repositories. \r\nReport to the Manager about the documentation tasks periodically. \r\nEducation and Experience \r\nMinimum 2 years’ experience as a technical writer; having worked on user guides and online help from the scratch.
