    Position: Technical Writer\r\nLocation: Bangalore\r\nExperience: 6 to 13 Years\r\n\r\nRoles and responsibilities:\r\nIdeal candidate will be required to do these:\r\n• Lead a small team of writers to successfully complete a project release in an aggressive schedule.\r\n• Work with writers, product management, engineering, and testing teams spread across geos. \r\n• Use excellent leadership and collaboration skills, and be willing to attend several planning, tracking, and routine meetings with several teams. \r\n• Work with technical communications manager in India, senior management in the US, and program managers and engineering managers in the US and in India.\r\nMust Have:\r\n• 7+ years’ experience in technical documentation, creating user guides, configuration guides, administration guides, command reference guides, troubleshooting guides, etc. \r\n• Demonstrable knowledge of networking technologies including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, storage area networking (SAN) technologies such as Fibre Channel, and VoIP technologies such as SIP, Megaco, MGCP, etc.\r\n• At least two years’ experience in documenting networking products that include Layer 2 switches, Layer 3 routers, Application Delivery Controllers, Fibre Channel directors and switches, host bus adaptors (HBAs), storage arrays, etc.\r\n• Excellent writing and editing skills.\r\n• Proficiency with documentation tools such as FrameMaker.\r\n\r\nGood to have:\r\n• Have industry-accredited certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, etc. \r\n• Have handled at least one major release and one or more maintenance and patch releases on a contiguous basis.\r\n• Have led teams in handling at least one release in end-to-end tasks to complete a project release.\r\n• Have worked on large networking products such as core routers, enterprise-level switches, etc.\r\n• Have knowledge in DITA and XML-based authoring tools such as XMetaL, Epic Editor, etc.\r\n• Have worked on migrating unstructured content to structured content.\r\n• Have worked in Agile methodology, using the Sprint/Scrum approach to documentation projects.\r\n
