Job Overview: This position is responsible to work with writers, managers, engineering and QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the technical writing team produces high quality technical documentation.\r\n\r\nWork Experience:Typically 6 to 8 Years in Technical Documentation.\r\n\r\nKey responsibilities\r\n• Ability to function as the technical subject matter expert for the group.\r\n• Participate in effort estimation based on AGILE story points. Identify project dependencies and technical risks.\r\n• Plan, track, and deliver to sprint commitments.\r\n• Own documentation quality and delivery.\r\n• Author as well as review the documents prepared by technical writers to ensure quality and adherence to Tangoe technical writing standards.\r\n• Create, review, assign, and resolve various tickets in the tracking tool.\r\n• Coach and mentor both senior and junior technical writers in the team on tools, domain, writing standards and technical writing processes. \r\n• Special projects are part of regular job responsibilities. Work independently on special research assignments. \r\n• Innovate and implement standards and process improvements.\r\n• Work in complex, often undefined situations and develop innovative solutions that obtain results in all affected areas.\r\n• Ability to work smoothly with management in all of the above areas.\r\n\r\nSpecific Skills and Competencies:\r\n\r\n• Lead a team and communicate with stakeholders.\r\n• Analyse deliverable needs for multiple projects.\r\n• Set priorities and escalate issues appropriately.\r\n• Excellent writing skills for global audience. \r\n• Communicate clearly and effectively with Technical Information and cross-functional product teams\r\n• Familiarity with DITA methodology\r\n• Familiarity with FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, RoboHelp tools.\r\n• Familiarity with multiple Operating Systems, Servers, programming concepts, and Source Control.
