With our team, you will work with full-cycle development of mobile applications for Invensys products in an agile test-driven environment.\r\n\r\nIn this position, you will:\r\n• Write highly technical documentation (including conceptual, task-based, and reference documentation) that describes the platform software functionality.\r\n• Write content for installation guides, user guides, reference guides, Help systems, and Readme files.\r\n• Conduct interviews with various technical subject matter experts to gather information. \r\n• Research and transform complex technical concepts, specifications, and procedures into user-oriented information for non-technical and technical audiences.\r\n• Work with the user experience team to improve the UI and messages\r\n• Write knowledge base articles to support internal and external customers \r\n• Create videos that walk users through key functionality \r\n• Develop user documentation according to established quality guidelines\r\n• Publish user documentation in a variety of formats, such as HTML Help and browser-based Help, compile and test online help\r\n\r\n\r\nTo be successful in this position, you must be able to:\r\n• Demonstrate excellent analytical and written communication skills.\r\n• Work in an agile development environment.\r\n• Write topic-based user documentation.\r\n• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and quickly grasp complex technical concepts.\r\n• Work independently on given assignments, multitask, prioritize, and develop schedules. \r\n• Follow established processes and quality guidelines, and participate in developing new processes and quality guidelines.\r\n\r\nDesirable tools experience includes:\r\n\r\n• Microsoft Office\r\n• Knowledge of DITA specializations\r\n• Component content management system, preferably Author-It\r\n• Screen capture and editing tool, such as SnagIt\r\n• Line art tool, such as Microsoft Visio\r\n• WebWorks ePublisher or Help authoring tools\r\n• HTML editor\r\n• Microsoft SQL Server administration fundamentals\r\n
